After a solid 16 yesterday ( and a race on Saturday for Tamami) we decided to run very slowly today. We ran the first Km in 5.40 and then the next one in 5.30. By this time we had pretty much had enough of this so increased the pace for the rest of the run. We did ok although we were still slower than 5 min pace ( 8 min mile pace). So it was no great effort.
I have a slightly sore calf so purchased myself a compression garment. Will that help? Don’t know. I am icing as I write…so maybe that will help.The temperature today was 23. Even this seemed a little warm.
