TAPER TIME

Never been a great one for Tapers but I think I am getting to the stage where I need all the rest I can get.

After running a steady 11km on Sunday I felt a bit ill in the evening. Bit of a cold coming on perhaps? But maybe more in my mind.

Anyway after not a great night I felt a lot better this morning. I did some push ups and a two minute plank. Not that great but all I felt energy for.

Ran a steady 3 Km.  Funny how the first Km of a short run like this seems to take so long.

My Achilles a bit sore….I am icing now….maybe I may use my training shoes for the Canberra Marathon on Sunday.

I am planning on an incredible easy week. I run everyday. I want the sequence to keep going. I plan to run everyday until the day I die…after that maybe reassess. BUT this week will be EASY with a capital Ez.
