Races and recovery/easy days


After racing on the track last night I decided to just have a short easy jog today and tomorrow,Saturday, I will just jog an easy 6 Km or so.

Sunday I will run a fun run. it’s either a 6 or a 12. I will try the shorter event. it will be out and back so I will try and run the first 3 Kms fairly hard and then see what I can do on the way home. It’s a small race with no age group categories. Should be interesting.

I think taking it easy on some days of the week will help me. In the past I just kept on doing more. Eventually that paid off but that WAS 35 years ago. Things are maybe different these days.
