6 Km race tomorrow. Not a major race but one I would like to run a little faster than my usual plod. I think that to run faster you have to work at improving over a period of time. I want to be able to run at a faster overall pace and not feel if I am at a flat out sprint.
Tomorrow’s race has no age group categories but that does not matter. I am really running the race as part of my overall training.
Tamami has just started running a couple of days ago after her leg operation. She is still in pain but hopefully that will pass eventually. TODAY we ran an easy 6 Km together in 33.26. She wanted to go faster but I told her the idea is just to try and get her legs moving again. I am very wise when it comes to giving advice to others.
