Marathon: Resting


imageWith the Melbourne Marathon coming up this Sunday I am into the second day of my Taper. Time to put my feet up.

Tuesday: Easy 3 Km with Tamami. Felt excellent. I  think all this resting is doing me some good.

25 push ups and 75 stomach crunches.

An easy day.

I am trying to relax,take it easy and just go for a short jog. Gathering my energy for the Race on Sunday.

A little strange not going for a run each day. I feel I want to do more. Get fitter.Get stronger. I keep telling myself the smart thing is to rest. But it is not easy. I have been tapering for two days now!  Somehow seems longer.
