Yesterday was one week since I ran the Melbourne Marathon. Since then I have been resting,running only 5 Km a day and doing light sessions in the gym.
Yesterday I went to the Palace in Tokyo…a popular running route…and ran a steady 10 Km with no ill effects. ran with Tamami and friend Mutsumi San.
At the Palace there are a number of Rules posted on a sign board….such as do not check your email whilst running! Another is ‘ Do not run too fast ‘!! Little chance of that as we ran well over 5 minute per Km pace on the first lap(5 Km) although we picked it up on the second lap.
In the afternoon I went again to the Apartment’s Gym and did some light weights and some ab exercises.
I am slowly recovering from the Marathon.
